The areas affected include... Gulf Waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee 20 to 60 nm out and beyond 5 fathoms... Gulf of America from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon Shoal out to 5 fathoms... Hawk Channel from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon Shoal out to the reef... At 829 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a strong thunderstorms, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Northwest Channel Buoy 1 to near Cudjoe Bay, moving west at 15 knots. Locations that will be affected include... Raccoon Key, Northwest Channel Buoy 1, Snipe Point, Cottrell Key, Cudjoe Bay, Little Knockemdown Key, and Smith Shoal Light.
