At 959 AM CDT, Numerous spotters report flash flooding in Owensboro. Water ranges from 4 to 8 inches deep on several streets in the citiy. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain has fallen. The heaviest rainfall is ending but waters will likely be slow to recede. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Owensboro, Whitesville, Masonville, Knottsville and Moseleyville.
