July's full moon is due on Wednesday, here's some of the best places to watch it where you live. The second of three summer full moons is set to rise above the West Country on Wednesday night. The Buck Moon is set to reach its peak illumination at 15:36 BST, however this will occur just below the horizon. Nevertheless the moon, which is described as an orange, amber or golden orb, will still appear full to the naked eye overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday. When trying to see a full moon, it is recommended to go to open, elevated locations with low levels of light pollution and clear views of the eastern horizon. Northern and Western parts of the UK may have some cloud on Wednesday night, however, the conditions in southern and eastern areas are likely to stay clear. For moon watchers in Gloucestershire, Cleeve Hill, Painswick Beacon and May Hill are high ground locations offering wide horizons and clear vantage points.
